Flashes Guys drop second Freedom Division meet and put themselves out of reach of repeating as division champs. Still the speedsters have individual and sectionl possibilities yet to strive for. Kevin "Blazin Caucasian" Linico won the 100 & 200 meter dash and is a strong contender for a setional title in both events. Justin "Jet"Stone (winner of the 400 meters) is looking strong again, Matt "Rabbit" Belcher took both the high and intermediate hurddles and also has a shot in the pole vault. DJ "Super Jock" Pittinger had a off day in the long jump but should recover, won the triple jump and the high jump. John Allen won the discus and Chris "Iron Man" Salaga won the javelin. Both of the Flashes Guys losses were winnably close but the lack of power in the middle and long distance running events probably is the biggist reason.

The Lady Flashes got their first win of the season as Talaya "Layya" Loran lead the way with first place finishes in the 100 and 200 meters and long jump. Freshman Sarah "Too Much" Muchowski was a double winner taking the 1,600 and the javelin., and Jessica "Jay-Dee" Damino won both the high and intermediate hurdles. Single event winners were: Emily "Emy" Ivins in the 800 meters, Kelli "Brickhouse" Brikowski in the 3,200, Chakera "Sugar" Hightower in the shot put and Liz "Shaef" Shaffer in the discus.
