Panthers push past Flashes, Defeat Florence 73-67 (boys) & 74-59 (girls)

The Flashes Guys look pretty strong in the sprints jumps and field events: Kevin Linico took first place in both the 100 (11:1) & 200 (23:5) meeters and Justin Stone suffered a push that caused him to lose his first ever Freedom Division 400 meter race. Matt Belcher won the high hurdles (15.6), the intermediate hurdles (1:00) and the pole vault (9'-0"). DJ Pittinger took both the long jump (20'-5") & triple Jump (40"-.5"), Fitz Miller won the shot put (39'-10"), John Allen won the discus (127'-2") and Chris Salaga took sedond in the Javelin.

The Girls are looking strong in the middle and long distance runs and showing great improvement in the field events: Emily Ivins was a double winner taking first in the 800 (2:42.1) & the 3200 (14:51.1) meters, as was freshman Sarah Muchowski with wins in the 1600 (6:26) meters and the javelin (87'-11.5"). Jessica Damiani was first in the intermediat hurdles a(1:19.9) and Claudia Shader won the discus (76'-9.75")
